Winery
Wines from all properties are crafted and kept at Quinta de São João, in a historic wine cellar built in 1946/47. This winery is unique in the region for its modern construction and architectural style.
Our winery has 4 “lagares” for the traditional method of foot crushing the grapes, 7 Algerian style vats, which are unique in Portugal for their architecture, several cement tanks, temperature controlled stainless steel fermenting vats for both whites and reds, 2 rooms for storing barrels, 2 for storing bottles and a bottling line with labeling and packaging capacity.
